Similar to the popular CBS reality show, our Amazing Race creates the perfect blend of a scavenger hunt, action, and technology in a race against time… management! Along the course, teams will solve puzzles, complete “Detour” tasks, and participate in “Roadblock Station” games–all while experiencing the city (or event location) in a new and exciting way!
The Details
How It Works
At the event’s outset, participants will be grouped and presented with their team bandanas. Following a brief introduction by our host, teams will be handed their Race Backpacks, fully equipped with all the essentials for competition—featuring an iPad mini, a course map, and a Team Packet containing puzzles and tasks for them to solve and accomplish.
The goal is to earn maximum points on the designated race course and reach the finish line by a specific time. Teams are intentionally given more tasks than they can complete, encouraging strategic planning.
Teams can earn points in the following ways:
- Fast Forward puzzles are worth the most points because they require the most effort! Solving the puzzle directs them to a specific landmark where they meet one of our race contacts. Teams not only earn points for puzzle completion but also for participating in a “Roadblock Station” game for bonus points.
- Inside their Team Packets, “Detour” cards will guide them to specific team tasks around the city, all worth varying amounts!
- Lastly, the packet has some “Pit Stop” surprises where teams must hunt down and film a 15-second scene from their favorite movies!
